"This was an outstanding hunt!  My boar was big and mean.
From the time the dogs bayed until my huge trophy went down
was the most intense time of my life.  Both the guides and the dogs
are tough as nails and they really know their stuff!  Rock-on

"Just a note,      Arrived with daughter, JR and dogs at the field at 8:30 am.  It had rained all night
(first time in 28 days) and was still raining, washing away any sign and scent of a hog; not the best
conditions for our hunt.  Luckily, we had a good guide and some great huntin' dogs to follow.  After
warning us that the hunt would be challenging, we agreed to keep good attitudes and see what we
could rustle up.  After awhile, I decided that I'd call it a day in another  hour since none of us had on
a dry stitch of clothing and were cold.  Then JR's lead dog, Honey, started sniffing around a grove of
trees and JR told us she 'was onto something'.  We followed the rest of the dogs; running after the
sound of her barking and I ended up taking out a 300 lb boar with my knife.  This is the first animal
that I've wanted to "mount" to the wall (not the living room wall though, my wife 'bout threw a fit!).
Wife is booking another hog-hunt for my daughter, and looking at 2 deer hunts. Thanks J.R. and we
will see you next year."  Steve and Crystal Boothe

"There are sites all over the internet offering hog hunts.  Many are high fence.  Many tell you that you can shoot
unlimited hogs and varmints.  Some offer a 5 star resort for lodging.  When you return home on a sour note because
you did not get any hogs, or maybe shot one in the corner of the high fence, call Willy and JR and ask them to take
you on an actual hunt.  That is what they provide.  A Hunt.  At the end of the day you are tired and it will be the best
hunt you have ever been on.  When those hounds bay a hog and you hear them yelling, it is something you cannot
understand unless you have been there.  We hunted with a group of 4 and brought home 8 hogs.  We were fortunate to
get into 2 big groups of hogs and could have taken literally as many more as we wanted as the dogs just kept baying
them up.  Its not always that way, remember this is hunting......not raising and killing like the high fence.  Things don't
always go right I am sure, but we had great luck and the dogs increase your chances of finding hogs as much as bird
dogs on pheasants.  Not only was the hunt great but you get attached to those dogs in a hurry and make some friends
in the process as Willy and JR are as down to earth as they come.  They know what they are doing and have some
great dogs to get the job done.  When they are not taking clients hunting they are hunting themselves.  Its what they love
to do and it will be what you want to do after you go once.  This is now an annual trip!"
